Flexible Dieting 101

What is flexible dieting??

For some its following the IIFYM(If it fits your macros) approach
For others its just simply 80% whole nutrient dense foods and 20% to fill with what you please.
That's just the thing about it, it is truly FLEXIBLE. It can be however you want it to be so that you are reaching your specific goals. The most important thing is staying within your calorie range. This is different and specific for every person.



What is a Macro?? 

Macro is short for macronutrient and includes:

Protein (4 cals)
Carb (4 cals)
Fat (9 cals)

Each of these macronutrients, for the most part, make up our food. They each have a caloric value that accounts for the calories consumed at any given time.


Each person is required a different number of calories a day. This is based on various factors such as age, weight, activity level, gender and goals.
